Our ministry restructured during the second half of 2022 and through 2023 and 2024, continuing to participate in various drives, bridge banner days, and other events, including 40 Days for Life, while continuing to support pregnancy resource centers like Vida. This site will be updated from time to time with events, but we will primarily use our email list to promote events. Please email [email protected] to request joining the email list.

2022

January

Members of Pro-Life Green Bay's Speakers Network spoke at several events in January, including at a pro-life event in Michigan, a local middle school, and an area church.
Members attended the national March for Life in Washington DC.

February

Members of Pro-Life Green Bay's Speakers Network spoke at two area 40 Days for Life Spring Vigil Kickoff Events, including the powerful testimony of a pro-life local OB/GYN, Dr. James Gibson on the misconceptions of contraception.

March

Participated in the 40 Days for Life Spring 2022 Vigil, committing as a ministry to 3 separate shifts per week throughout the vigil.
Took part in the second annual Big Hearts Baby Drive to support 3 area pregnancies centers.

April

Organized a Sidewalk Counseling Mission Trip to Milwaukee.

May

Supported our partner pregnancy center, Vida Medical Clinic, at their annual banquet and fundraiser: Together for Life. The night began with a powerful prayer service attended by members and leadership of multiple area churches. Keynote speaker, Rebekah Hagan, shared her powerful testimony about the Abortion Pill Reversal method.

Took to an area overpass with our banner stating that "Abortion Takes a Human Life"

Celebrated the historic overturning of Roe v. Wade!!!

2021

January

Traveled to Madison to participate in March for Life Wisconsin.
Hosted Pro-Life Wisconsin’s Sidewalk Counseling 201 seminar in Green Bay.
Sent a representative to attend the Diocese of Green Bay's annual Disciples for Life Conference.
Traveled to New London to attend the "Preserving Pro-Life Values and Religious Freedom in 2021" event.
Via a connection with Crisis Café, met the need of a young expectant mother in Green Bay by blessing her with hundreds of dollars of diapers & wipes, gas cards, several handwritten words of encouragement, and even a brand new high chair.

February

Hosted Green Bay’s 40 Days for Life Lenten Vigil Kickoff with special guest speaker & former Planned Parenthood director turned pro-life advocate, Sue Thayer.
Became an affiliate of Pro-Life Wisconsin.
Hosted a Foster Care awareness and informational meeting with local foster placement agencies.
Became a partner of Welcomed.org to support local foster families, and activated our first Care Team.

March

Participated in the 40 Days for Life Lenten Vigil, committing as a ministry to 4 separate shifts per week throughout the vigil.
Organized the Big Hearts Baby Drive, providing over $1,000 in diapers & wipes, almost $1,500 in total cash donations, and a conservative estimate of $1,500 worth of brand new baby clothes, baby hygiene products, and baby accessories to three area pregnancy centers: Vida Medical Clinic & Support Services, A&A Alexandrina, & Bay Area Life Center.

April

Organized our first Sidewalk Counseling Mission Trip in Milwaukee.
Attended Pro-Life Wisconsin's Living Courage Awards Ceremony. Received a surprise mention for being their newest (and incredibly active) affiliate.

May

Hosted our first major event, a Ladies for Life Tea & Silent Auction, which raised for $6,000 to fund care packages and love bags for mothers placing their children for adoption and women in crisis situations.
Celebrated the opening of Vida's brand new building! Praise God for the provision this beautiful, modern clinic where so many lives and families will be helped.

June

Attended the Madison local Biking for Babies training ride.

Organized a Sidewalk Counseling Mission Trip in Milwaukee.

July

Participated in National Pro-Life Bridges Day, reaching over 25,000 vehicles with the message "Abortion takes a human life"

August

Assembled over 60 care packages for birth mothers & moms in crisis with proceeds from our Ladies for Life Tea. Delivered packages to area hospitals & adoption agencies.
Enjoyed a summer celebration with our Care Teams ministry.

Pro-Life Green Bay celebrated its 1 year anniversary with an inspiring mini-message from founding pastor & board chairman, Mike Tappa – followed by fun chili cook off fundraiser (with 12 tasty chilis to try!). We raised over $1,100 dollars which will benefit the amazing pregnancy center we partner with, Vida!

Spent a night sharing the loving and compassionate vision of our ministry at a booth at the Green Bay Farmers Market on Broadway. Pro-Life Green Bay members were able to engage peacefully & positively with several people and many people thanked us for being there!!

Board Chairman & senior pastor, Mike Tappa, spoke at the Kaukauna National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children vigil.
Attended Vida's Chip in for Life annual fundraiser.

Saw 4 babies saved & 3 people give their lives to Christ while on our Sidewalk Counseling Mission Trip in Milwaukee!
Supported local St. Norbert College pro-life club, Knights for Life, who hosted Josh Brahm, President of the Equal Rights Institute, for a discussion on bodily autonomy.
Celebrated the 15 year anniversary of 40 Days for Life in Green Bay with a beautiful event that Shawn Carney & Steve Karlen came to speak at.

October

Participated in the 40 Days for Life Fall 2021 Vigil, committing as a ministry to 4 separate shifts per week throughout the vigil.
Attended Pro-Life WI's March for Life WI in Madison.
Attended Pro-Life WI's Love for Life Gala.

November

Spent time witnessing & in prayer as the Supreme Court heard oral arguments for the Texas Heartbeat Bill on an area overpass with our banner that says "Abortion takes a human life".
4 members of Pro-Life Green Bay spoke at an event on the campus of UWGB hosted by their pro-life club, Phoenix Students for Life.
Observed Orphan Sunday by advocating & educating on adoption, foster care, and wraparound care for families supporting vulnerable children.

December

Spent time witnessing & in prayer as the Supreme Court heard oral arguments for Dobbs vs. Jackson on an area overpass with our banner that says "Abortion takes a human life".
Traveled to Milwaukee to prayerfully & peacefully sing at the Empty Manger Christmas Caroling event outside the abortion clinic, Affiliated Medical Services.
