Showing love in hard times.
Pro-Life Green Bay connects with local hospitals, adoption agencies, and community resources to find practical ways we can meet the needs of people in our community. Through these partnerships, we have been able to step in the gaps and provide organizations with care packages to show their clients and patients that they are valued and loved.
In the spring of 2021, we raised over $6,000 from our first ever Ladies for Life Tea to support this effort. Later that summer, nearly 30 women helped to assemble & pray over the care packages - which were filled with journals, hygiene items, chocolates, and handwritten notes.
These care packages were distributed to our local partner hospitals and adoption agencies in order to bless:
- Mothers placing their children for adoption
- Mothers who choose to parent
- Moms currently in counseling
Our team has spent time researching & interviewing community resources to find the most helpful and needed items to put in care packages. Not only have we created a system to make the above care packages, but also packages for:
- Sidewalk counselors to provide men & women entering and leaving abortion clinics
- Care kits for women experiencing miscarriage
- Packages for pregnancy resource centers working with abortion vulnerable women
- Blessing bags for mothers and pregnant women in homeless shelters
If your ministry would like more information on how to create these care packages, we've done the legwork for you and will gladly share what we have learned! Contact us at anytime!
